On establishing Access Advocacy, over the last three years Anna has delivered projects with the voluntary, public and private sectors.
Work with charities has included development of a two-year project on behalf of twelve voluntary groups (‘TEAM: Patient Partnership for Quality Care’) which was selected for investment by the Voluntary Sector Investment Fund. Further projects have included development of a European political manifesto for a European charity and strategies to address better uptake of parenteral anti-microbial therapy for a charity based in the UK.
Public sector initiatives have included work funded by the Department of Health on healthcare-associated infection and privacy and dignity in hospital accommodation. An NHS-funded project delivered an innovative approach to increasing patient satisfaction through practical interventions and support of ward staff.
Private sector projects have included raising the profile and management challenges of osteoporosis, working in association with numerous country teams for Amgen. Anna has recently been invited by a major pharmaceutical company to support its Scandinavian teams in Access and Patient Advocacy initiatives around the launch of a ground-breaking development in cancer therapeutics.
